Curt Weldon: “The 9/11 Commission is a cover up”

Curt Weldon: Heroes who were being mistreated by Defense Intelligence. The Pentagon’s Inspector General filed a whistleblower report. I have a copy. I’ll give it to you.

His name is John Crane. He requested protection because his superiors at the DIA refused to allow him to become a whistleblower. When he told them he was ordered to lie to Congress, they ordered him to misinform Congress. I have that in writing, Tucker.

The 9/11 Commission is a cover-up. A 1000% cover-up. Zelikow was the leader of the cover-up.

Tucker Carlson: Philip Zelikow was the chairman.

Curt Weldon: He was handpicked by Condoleezza Rice.

Tony Schaefer met with Zelikow in Afghanistan, because Zelikow brought a team to see if there were soldiers who might have obtained information about 9/11 in advance. Tony Schaefer was deployed back in Afghanistan at that time, so he told his commanding officer, “I need to speak with them because I was part of a special team.”

He met with Zelikow. They exchanged cards in Kabul, and Zelikow told him, “Lieutenant Colonel, you need to see me as soon as you return to the United States. This is very important.”

When Tony returned to the U.S., they had shut down his office, locked it up, secured all his files, and then tried to destroy his personal reputation. They tried to destroy his career.

I went to Congress and gave a special one-hour order calling it a scandal bigger than Watergate. You can see the footage. It’s available online. I said: This is outrageous — that the Defense Intelligence Agency is ruining a Lieutenant Colonel because he’s telling the truth about what he was ordered to say when he returned from Afghanistan.

Tony Shafer then went to work in the reserves because he was basically harassed by the regular Army due to what Zelikow did.
